There is a science to trauma-informed education. It is not just a bunch of "feelings."

Experiencing a traumatic event can change the wiring of the brain. 2 out of 3 students will experience a traumatic event before they turn 18.

If trauma is changing their brains, then we have to change the way we teach.

Great statement, and this expands to adult brains as well. Caring for kids and adults is important in mitigating traumatic life events. It is important brain work :).
