Please join us on Wednesday, February 20 as the Trauma Informed Partnership of Macon-Piatt County, IL hosts a workshop on Teacher Self Care, presented by Joshua Carlson, LCSW with The Knowledge Center at Chaddock.

At this workshop, attendees will learn about trauma and adverse childhood experiences and the impact on students and teachers. The concepts of compassion fatigue, burn out and vicarious trauma will be explored as well as self-care strategies to cope with these reactions to exposure of secondary trauma.

This workshop is being offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of the Macon-Piatt Regional Office of Education #39.

Today's referral clients really had major household needs! Although we are low on most inventory, we are totally out of silverware, blankets, comforters, coffeepots, crockpots, toasters, bowls, bakeware and king/queen sheets.
